Current Coaches

Scott Quincey, Shane Semb, Shannon Dins, Mark Wochos

Hello and welcome to Pressure Baseball. My name is Scott Quincey, a coach of the Madison Cyclones. This website is for our team, so players and families can find current and past training plans, to help motivate our players and as another way to keep us connected.

I have been organizing friends and teams since I was a kid, and coaching since I was in college, much at the high school level and a growing amount at the youth sports level. I am a middle school teacher. Both teaching and coaching allow me the chance to work with people who love learning, challenging themselves, and making those around them better. I am constantly inspired by those around me.

Shane Semb, although not listed as a founding coach has been a coach since Day 1. He has been teaching and helping our Cyclones develop and assisting in any way needed. His leadership and work has helped so many of our players improve their game and rise to the next level. In our early years Nolan Lisowski-Semb also played a big role in helping our players develop.

This Fall, we added two phenomenal coaches to our group with Shannon Dins and Mark Wochos. Both Shannon and Mark bring their past coaching experience and their love of helping young baseball players improve. Both made huge contributions already this Fall in illuminating key areas of focus for our team and in instruction for our players.

Our Pressure Baseball philosophy is at the heart of our teaching. Along with this philosophy, we provide our years of coaching and teaching experience, high expectations, commitment to our players and families, and our love of teaching and the game of baseball. Our practice and game plans are research based and provide for many good reps for our players. We provide open and regular feedback to players and families. We regularly praise growth, note strengths and to note opportunities for improvement and how to get there.

We have assembled a great group of players who love baseball, are hungry to improve and compete and have seen great strides made already in the Fall.

Our team families contribute in so many ways. All are great role models, so encouraging and supportive of all team players. Families help run drills at practice, keep score at games, share insight into their player to help coaches personalize instruction, and much more. Our caring group of families makes the experience great for our players.

We enjoy this time together and look forward to all the great things our players will accomplish both on and off the field as positive leaders in the future.
